We were all absolutely delighted with the handling of the catering at Georgina’s and Will’s wedding last Friday.
Apart from our compliments I wish I had a record of every comment made by the guests regarding the food and service. I think every single comment at least made reference to lovely hot plates and the superb Beef Wellington as well as other aspects. Guests who have had their own experience of large scale entertaining said you can always tell how much effort has gone into an event and how good the suppliers are by how seemingly effortlessly proceedings run and particularly mentioned the high standards of the catering especially as it was produced in a field! (They included one titled couple who have an extremely large annual Fesival on their private estate!).
I hoped I could not go wrong by using Milsoms outside catering arm, Chelmer Marquees, 29 Fingers (the band) and Paul Cadman, the florist and I was not disappointed. We also had a visit on the following Sunday from a committee member for Thorndon Golf Club’s Centenary Organising Committee to be held in 2020 for 300 people. He wished to discuss our event and suppliers and I know they are thinking of using you and now Chelmer Marquees too so another good joint operation for you both.
I saw Paul when I brought some glasses, a tray etc. back on Monday and I did let him know how happy we were with everything.
It was very kind to see Ian there too keeping an eye on proceedings, we did appreciate that. Geraldine seemed to have everything under total control from the moment she arrived to the moment she left and approached everything in a calm and professional manner. Thank you too for all your assistance prior to the big day, you were very efficient and “on the ball” despite having your own wedding in the lead up to ours, I had no idea and I hope yours was as memorable as ours.
