Accommodating up to 130 guests for a civil ceremony, or up to 80 for a wedding reception, the River Room blends the characteristic charm of Talbooth Restaurant’s 16th century architecture, with our signature stylish interiors.
Situated within the grounds of Talbooth Restaurant, our Marquee enjoys an unrivalled position on the banks of the River Stour. Accommodating 50-160 guests, the marquee is a flexible space in which to entertain guests throughout the day and into the evening.
A charming space for smaller ceremonies in the main building, suitable for ceremonies as small as 4 and up to 36 guests. A perfect alternative to a registry office. The registrar from Colchester can deliver and officiate your marriage or civil ceremony.
Located on the first floor of the restaurant, the Weavers Room at Talbooth Restaurant is ideal for an intimate wedding reception following a service in the Old Room.
