Why did you choose Talbooth House & Talbooth Restaurant?
Very easy – the beautiful setting, the very best food and great accommodation.
The wedding breakfast
A BBQ banquet, which was all sensational and included pulled BBQ shoulder of pork, Sirloin steaks in a spicy Talbooth rub, and Red pepper, sweet potato, tamarind and halloumi skewers.
The evening food
Grazing table – which everyone loved, including meat, cheeses, fish and vegetarian.
The finer details
We kept it simple with lots of white and green, which looked amazing against the backdrop of the river. As wedding favours, I had personalised glasses made for everyone to toast the speeches, which was a nice touch.
Most memorable part of your day
All of it! But a few things which particularly stood out…
- Saying ‘I Do’, of course!
- Arriving by boat to our drinks reception
- Enjoying canapés and drinks on the lawn, in such a beautiful setting
- The food, drinks and service were all absolutely faultless
- The live band playing our first dance, before partying late into the evening
