Milsom Weddings

Attending The Milsom Wedding show is a fantastic way to get inspiration for your wedding day and find your team of unique and trend-setting wedding suppliers who will transform your big day – touted as the most forward thinking wedding show in East Anglia, and we would certainly have to agree with this statement!

With this in mind, here are some top tips on attending The Milsom Wedding Show to help you enjoy the day and get the most from the experience.

Tip #1

Plan ahead!

Take a look at our dedicated show page and identify the people you want to have a chat with. We really do work with the best in the business and the suppliers who have been invited to our wedding show are brilliant, the ones who always go that extra mile for our couples and caught our attention because they did something new, exciting and innovative. Before you attend try and decide which supplier you want to talk to and the questions you have to ask them. That way you will come out of the wedding show feeling a greater sense of achievement.

Tip #2

Take pictures on your phone.

In a nut shell The Milsom Wedding show is full of creative exhibitors with forward thinking and exciting ideas. This year’s theme is tropical, so think bright colours, lots of greenery and of course – neon! There will be lots to see, so take pictures whenever something catches your eye, this way you can show the bride tribe when you get home or share on social media.

Tip #3

Get involved at the Inspo Lab!

We are running an interactive Inspiration lab with a fantastic line up of interactive workshops, such as how to make a buttonhole with the expert team from Tudor Rose Florist, cocktail making (and tasting!) with Mark from Bottleproof and bridal make up tutorials with Maison Talbooth Spa team. Be sure to book your place at one of our classes and see the full line up here.

Tip #4

Ask questions to The Milsom Wedding team.

With more than 60 years’ experience in arranging weddings, we’ve picked up a thing or two about planning the perfect day and the Milsom Weddings team will be on hand to discuss all your wedding venue queries.

Tip #5

Take a wander around the venue, not just the show.

Found your venue yet? Kesgrave Hall is a magnificent wedding venue set in over 40 acres of park and woodland.

We also have wedding venues in Dedham: Le Talbooth, with a stunning riverside location, and Maison Talbooth, a luxurious country house hotel perfect for smaller and more intimate weddings. Both venues have inspirational food, the finest accommodation and exceptional service; it’s easy to understand why Milsom Weddings are in high demand.

Tip #6

Don’t miss the freebies.

Turn up early on the day and be one of the first 100 couples to receive a free goodie bag, full of treats provided by The Milsom Wedding team and suppliers.

If you are not an early riser, don’t fret as there will be plenty of other freebies offered throughout the day, from Maison Talbooth Spa offering mini treatments to the Milsom Catering team serving some delicious canapés.

Tip #7

Have a glass of bubbles.

Make sure you take time out to have a glass of bubbles at the prosecco bar. This is the point of the day at which you can sit back, reflect and decide whether you want to go back and see an exhibitor for a second time.

Tip #8

Enjoy it!

Leave feeling like you’ve sorted lots of the unknowns.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
